Intimate Backyard Wedding: Natalie + Shane

Saturday couldn’t have been a more gorgeous or perfect day for Natalie + Shane’s beautiful Lafayette wedding. After rescheduling their big wedding to a small intimate ceremony with just their closest family and friends they were beyond ready to get married.

Typically we ALWAYS meet with the bride and groom before we photograph their wedding…usually during an engagement session. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to do this with Natalie and Shane with the last minute scheduling + living in different states + having a baby, lol! However, the minute we arrived to photograph their wedding we were treated like old friends. After spending the entire day with them these two quickly became some of our favorite people.

Their beautiful mass was the highlight of the day for them and the wonderful homily about marriage is still echoing in my ears. I’m just thankful Steven and I were there to witness such a wonderful, holy and perfect day. Congratulations, Natalie + Shane! We wish both of you a lifetime of love, joy and happiness!!!!
