Lafayette Engagement Session: James + Janie

I can’t tell you how much fun I had photographing this Lafayette Engagement Session!! I think you’ll see why as you scroll down :) James + Janie are two of the SWEETEST people I’ve ever met! I feel so blessed that they’ve chosen me to photograph their wedding process! I actually met Janie during my senior year of High School when I made a silent retreat and she was my prayer leader! I had so much so much to think about and discern during that retreat and Janie was a huge source of encouragement to me. I remember talking to her about photography and her encouraging me in that direction. Fast forward a few years and I DID decide to make a career in photography and here she is hiring me to be her wedding photographer! God is so good!! Another awesome thing is that James and I have known each other even before he and Janie started dating. My high school youth group leaders decided to go into missions a few years ago and James took over leading the youth group for them. I helped out with his youth group for awhile and we became friends. I was SO SO excited when I found out they were dating each other. They compliment each other perfectly and I know God has amazing things in store for them. Their April wedding cannot come soon enough! ;)
