Katie + Adam: Lafayette Engagement Session

I absolutely love when couple’s think outside the box for their engagement session location! Katie and Adam decided to have their session at a friend’s home in Lafayette. I loved this choice!! The property was gorgeous and it’s a fun location they’ll never forget. Brainstorm the private properties your friends and family own instead of feeling like you have to go to a “typical” engagement location!

This is not the first time I’ve had the chance to photograph Katie. When I was a junior in high school I took a photography class at LSUE. The teacher of the class was my biggest mentor and he encouraged me to attend. The model for the day was Katie!!! I wish I could show you the before and after from those images to now…thank goodness I probably deleted them because it was pretty bad. LOL! What a difference 8 years can make!!! :)

I am SO SO happy for these two! Katie and Adam are so obviously a perfect fit. I’m super excited they have found each other. I’m not the only one that’s going to be ecstatic to see these two become husband + wife! I have a sneaking suspicion that church is going to be packed! Can’t wait for that happy day.
