Eunice Wedding: Meredith + Layne

Excitement has been high to see the pictures from Meredith & Layne’s beautiful Eunice wedding! This wedding definitely fulfilled a huge dream of mine! I have been waiting for YEARS to photograph a bride and groom with a vintage truck. This isn’t an easy dream, because first of all someone has to own a vintage truck! Second, you need someone who is able to drive it (jumpstart if it dies!) and handle any issues that arise. Third, you need to have a beautiful spot to PARK the truck for portraits! Luckily Meredith and Layne overcame all these obstacles and were able to use a truck owned by Layne’s dad! We were all excited!! I absolutely loved the style of their wedding and enjoyed my time editing all of the beautiful details. Meredith incorporated an elegantly vintage feel to their wedding and the little touches showed up everywhere. Meredith & Layne decided to have a first look enabling them to go straight to the reception after the ceremony. This allowed them to maximize the time with their family and friends! I was crossing my fingers all day praying that the rain would stop so we could get pictures outdoors! Luckily we had just enough sunlight for the first look and family portraits before another shower hit! The whole wedding party had just enough time to run to their vehicles before getting soaked! Luckily after about 10 minutes the rain stopped and we were able to finish our portraits! Meredith & Layne had such a supportive wedding party to literally wade through the water and mud for their pictures!! They were AWESOME! I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites, but here are about 200 of them! :)

Meredith and Layne lost a groomsmen this past year and Meredith wanted to incorporate him into her bouquet. Love this!

Time for the first look :)

We were able to take all of these bride & grooms portraits in 5-10 minutes because we were rushing to beat the rain! So happy the sun came out for a little while!

Meredith & Layne included the families members that they’ve lost so well. Layne’s mom loved the Talladega races so Meredith had a patch sewn into her dress. Their groomsmen, JD, had a pair of boots and his cowboy hat in the aisle. So many special touches!
