Kaplan Engagement Session: Sarah + Cody

This Kaplan Engagement Session continues my engagement session streak!! Louisiana weather finally turns beautiful for a few precious weeks and my schedule is jam packed with gorgeous in-love couples! Can’t wait to share everyone’s love stories!! Sarah + Cody’s engagement session was extra special to me because Sarah is my cousin. We grew up together and have been best friends our entire lives! We are only 6 months apart and I feel so lucky to have made so many amazing memories with this sweet cousin/sister of mine! Both she and Cody love the outdoors, enjoy riding horses and already own lots of cattle! They wanted to incorporate their love of horses, animals and everything outdoors into this session! I love how everything came together in exactly the style they were hoping for!! These pictures perfectly describe them as a couple :) I was worried about painting the wedding date on Cody’s horse but “Jill” was literally was the calmest horse I’ve ever seen! She stood like a statue while we took as many pictures as we wanted! The sunset pictures at the end are definitely my favorite and will end up on a canvas somewhere in my office!
