There are weddings that are so perfect it’s hard for me to put the day into words. Emily and Hunter’s wedding day was one such day. I have gotten to know these two over the course of this wedding process and have had such a blast being a part of their story. Being a wedding photographer is a blessing to me for so many reasons but the greatest joy is spending the most incredible day of a person’s life right beside them! I was able to witness every smile, kiss, tender moment and happy tears! This day had all of these in abundance!!! When I met with Emily and Hunter to discuss the timeline of the day they realized that missing an hour of the reception to take photos was a huge downer!! They also were unhappy that every single photo would either be in church or in the dark because their ceremony started well after sunset. Because of these reasons they decided to do a first look and were SO happy with their decision!! The happy moments they were able to share just the two of them, during the first look, were some of the sweetest of the day. The gorgeous portraits we were able to capture with this extra time was a bonus!!! Emily’s attention to planning and detail were apparent throughout the entire day. The homily that the priest gave during their ceremony was one of my favorite…ever and was so personal. Loved every detail about this day, these people and especially their photographs!!
