Edelweiss Engagement Session: Alyssa + Henry

I have been waiting to photograph Alyssa and Henry’s sweet engagement session all summer and I’m so excited they had the most BEAUTIFUL day for these! It was all 100+ degrees, but somehow these two looked amazing regardless of the heat wave.

I’ve known Alyssa and Henry for almost a decade now, although that seems so crazy to say! Steven and I did tons of youth ministry when we graduated high school and these two were part of our youth group at the time. They were not dating each other while we were their youth ministers and looking back I can’t believe I didn’t see this coming!!

Alyssa and Henry both have incredibly kind hearts, easy personalities and radiate joy. Once you meet Alyssa you can never forget her infectious laugh! Henry actually took piano lessons from me a lifetime ago when I was still teaching. He was a great kid then and has turned into an even better adult.

I couldn’t be happier for these two and I know their life together is going to resemble the images below: full of friendship and laughter! :)
