Lake Martin Engagement Session: Kennedy + Jake

Kennedy and Jake are my very first couple to choose a Lake Martin Engagement Session! I have been dying to shoot a session there for years and I was so excited to find it just as beautiful as I’d imagined! Kennedy and Jake are just sweethearts. They were amazing from start to finish and were perfect pros by the end of their session! I loved watching them interact with each other and enjoyed hearing about their life together. Jake definitely outdid himself with the proposal and it’s too good of a story not to share! Jake and Kennedy took a ski trip to Colorado with Jake’s family. Kennedy wasn’t able to ski, but Jake convinced her to take a ride to the top of the mountain on the lift. He had everything set up so when they reached the top of the mountain he got down on one knee and PROPOSED!! He was wearing a Gopro and actually has the whole thing on film!!! It’s on their Facebook page and I have definitely watched it a few times! From that moment on Kennedy enjoyed wedding planning from the warmth of the ski lodge in the Colorado mountains!!! So sweet :) I cannot wait for their wedding!!! Here are just a few of my absolute favorites!
