There is something amazing about finding a couple that perfectly fits your style of photography. Mallory and Austin were one of those couples! We had a blast shooting their session last week and it was one of those moments that make me love my job!!! Mallory and Austin are both from Crowley, Louisiana and their wedding is on New Year’s Eve 2014!!
I’m sooo excited! My secret dream as a photographer, (or not so secret if you ask my family, lol!) has been to shoot a military wedding ;) I mean, come on, what is more romantic than that?? When I met Mallory last year at a softball game and heard her fiancé was in the Army I began praying she’d let me photograph their special day ;) Austin has been stationed overseas for the better part of last year and will stay overseas until their wedding on December 30. He was able to come home for a 2 week vacation and that’s how we were able to take their engagements! I don’t have to tell you they are an amazing couple…all you have to do is look at their session! A picture is worth a thousand words ;) Enjoy a few of my favorites! I had SUCH a difficult time narrowing them down! My favorites are the ones of them laughing :) which they pretty much did the entire session! They are so happy they can’t help themselves haha. As I’m writing this, Austin is probably in an airplane headed back to his base…so if you have a moment say a prayer for him and Mallory! It’s couples like them that keep our country safe. I hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I enjoyed photographing them!

this was a little gazebo my sister saw at Mallory’s house when we stopped by before the session….So guess where we head after dark?? I know it doesn’t look like it, but it was DARK when we took these! Pitch black! One of the many reasons I LOVE my new Mark III!!

Literally teared up… Clare you did an AMAZING job! We all knew God brought you and Steven together for many reasons, and look how great He is! Besides seeing you and Steven grow together, we’ve been able to see you branch out, come out of your shell and form relationships with each of his friends! We love you! And if it hadn’t been for that, you never would’ve been able to have the opportunity to take these AMAZING pictures!! Your work is awesome- even though these two have so much love and adorable-ness it wouldn’t take much to capture it…you did just that and so much more. They don’t get much time together and when they do, I’m sure it’s constant joy, and your pictures exemplified that ;) I love these two to death no matter what and I just wanted to say you did a perfect job. I guess this session just touched me more than I thought I would!
