University of Lafayette Engagement Session: Laura + Kurt

Engagement sessions on the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s campus are always a favorite! I had such a blast with Laura and Kurt especially because they showed me so many great hidden spots on campus! Usually I stay close to the Alumni Center (which has tons of beautiful spots), but I absolutely loved this fresh approach to campus sessions. Laura and Kurt are such a sweet couple and I enjoyed hearing about their life and wedding during our time together. Their gentle personalities and laughter made for sooo many genuine photographs! They are having a Cajun/Vietnamese wedding and I cannot wait to experience the amazing traditions they will incorporate :) We photographed a large part of this session in the swamp which is right in the middle of campus. We even had the pleasure of seeing multiple alligators! Always fun!! :) I got a picture of a large alligator that was enjoying watching Laura and Kurt pose! We even saw a tiny baby just walking around by the huge oak tree at the end of their session. I love swamps with their beautiful oak trees and droopy moss and UL definitely has a beautiful one. I’m so excited for you to see my favorite images and I can’t wait for the wedding!
