The Studio/House Renovation

This is a post that I have been wanting to share for a long time! A complete tour of my studio + home! I bought this office in January of last year and we completed the building/renovating around August. After getting engaged in September and married this May life has been crazy! So happy I’m finally able to share the finished product. We still have a few small projects to do such as hang things on the wall — but for the most part it’s complete and we are moved in!

Anyone who’s built or renovated a home knows it’s a huge job with sooo many decisions! Today I’m sharing some of those decisions and sources wth you. Sometimes it can be so hard to find the items that you’re looking for and I hope this helps you if you’re redecorating! Building, renovating and decorating was a huge amount of work but I’m so happy with the way everything turned out! If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask!! :)

We decided to make our master closet and laundry room a combo! The washer and dryer rest behind those doors and it makes for easy laundry!!

The ceiling is made of bead board–originally I wanted Shiplap, but there was a misunderstanding and the bead board looks great! It’s just not fun to paint, lol

Granite came from Mr. Richard Authement–best price and service I found! His number is 337-502-6767. Cannot recommend him enough!

These are the doors that separate my office from the house! French doors came from Lowes, as did the lamp shade!

Hobby lobby is where I purchased almost all of my plaques and decor items.
