Amelia and Peter had a gorgeous wedding last month right across the street from my studio in downtown Iota!!! This made it so much fun for me on several different levels. Amelia was able to take her getting ready portraits right here in my studio…a DREAM come true! This is actually where I did getting ready portraits for my own wedding a few years ago so offering this space to Amelia was extra special!
Amelia and Peter chose to have a first look together before their ceremony…being we were very short on time for their ceremony at 1:00 pm they decided to take my suggestion and do their first look nearby at my in-law’s property (our future home!!). I LOVE shooting on this property and even though these were literally photographed at noon we had enough shade to make it work! You would NEVER guess that this was one of the coldest days of the year so far. This wedding party was SO cooperative because the cold wind was definitely difficult to stand in! I still cannot believe we were able to get all of their portraits done in such a short amount of time. They were amazing!!!
I could say so much about Amelia and Peter. These two radiate love and watching them finally commit their lives to each other was such a sweet moment for me. I’ve enjoyed getting to know the two of them and I know their marriage will be joyful, holy and full of blessings. These two were so trusting of me and because of their easy-going natures they have over 130 portraits of JUST the TWO of them! I went a little crazy but I’m obsessed with them all!
Congratulations ya’ll! I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed photographing them! <3
