Iota Wedding: Alyssa & Ryan

I always love a fun Iota Wedding but Alyssa & Ryan’s wedding was an especially AMAZING celebration! From beginning to end the whole day was perfect and such a joyful coming together of families! Alyssa’s parents & mine have always been friends, but growing up I didn’t know Alyssa personally. Throughout this whole wedding experience I really enjoyed getting to know her and Ryan together. They are two of the most genuinely nice people I’ve ever met and I loved photographing their wedding process. Alyssa has amazing taste as you will see and all of her details were gorgeous! What really stood out to me on their day was the reception. They had 20 attendants in their wedding and they definitely had a fabulous party!! Even as the end of the reception came around, no one was ready to go home! I heard rumor of after parties continuing the reception into the night, lol!! Everyone had a blast. I could’ve posted DOZENS more hilarious dance pictures, but I didn’t want to have 500 images in a blog post, lol!! Alyssa & Ryan are sentimental and have been saving all of their dating mementos in this box! Movie tickets, flowers, letters, etc! Ryan used all of it in his proposal to Alyssa and so of course we needed a pictures! Love this!

Immediately when I saw Alyssa’s grandmother’s patio I KNEW it would be perfect for pictures…only problem is it was full of normal patio “stuff”! Barbecue pits, table etc were all moved by sweet family members so we could get this shot! Love how it turned out!!!

These mason jars were such a cute way to hold the bouquets :)

We lucked out with the PERFECT picture spot right behind the house!! One tree is all it takes :)

Alyssa’s cousin passed away not long ago, so she decided to carry a her picture in her bouquet. This was so special.

It was hot…and Alyssa & Ryan were ready to get to the reception. But they decided taking 5-10 min for a few quick photographs outside was worth it. I’m SOOOO glad they did!

Alyssa decided against framing her bridal image and instead upgraded to a canvas! The result was wow!! It looked so elegant walking into the reception :) Canvases rock!

I love being a photographer for moments like this. Both Alyssa’s grandmother and aunt are having a blast with her on her wedding day. Love the joy on their faces!!!
