Lafayette Wedding | Rebecca + Walker

St. John the Evangelist Cathedral in Lafayette is such a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding day. Last Friday we were blessed with the most gorgeous weather for Rebecca + Walker’s wedding. St. John’s was truly the center of this wedding as everyone spent the entire day on the same block around the Cathedral!

Rebecca and Walker are probably listening to the beautiful sound of crashing waves right now…and in this chilly Louisiana weather I’m super jealous. They definitely deserve this getaway after a whirlwind year of planning. I couldn’t be happier for these two. It’s obvious that they just click. Their personalities are the perfect compliment to each other and I know they will spend the rest of their life laughing.

My favorite thing about this wedding was Walker’s face as he looked at Rebecca. I have so many captures of this…either during portrait time, while mass was being said or while they had fun at the reception. The joy on his face truly said it all.

The details of this wedding were gorgeous and none of it would have been possible without the tireless work and planning from Southern Fete. They outdid themselves. Wedding planners make a HUGE difference in the flow + design of your overall wedding.
