Mallory & Austin’s wedding in Rayne, Louisiana is definitely one of my favorites to date. I will be honest with you. I cried more than once during this special day. Mallory & I met a few years ago during a softball game! It wasn’t long before we were discussing Mallory’s new engagement! Every week during the games, I would visit with her about wedding details. I was able to see Mallory anxiously awaiting texts from Korea where Austin was stationed. Because of the time difference, they had a very short window of time to talk everyday. When he finally came back home, we were able to photograph engagements (January 2014) before he had to leave again. Mallory and I went back and forth on wedding plans, timelines and details all year. She finally decided to have a FIRST LOOK!! (Blog post about this is coming soon!) We also found out around September that Austin would have to deploy to Afghanistan the day after their wedding. I was devastated for both of them in this change in plans. Mallory stayed so strong and positive throughout the whole thing. I admire her so much. They finally decided to say their vows a month early with only their closest friends and family present. This way they could go on an early honeymoon! They also decided keep their original wedding date with a big celebration for all of their extended family from out of town. I was so excited for the day of their wedding to arrive and it was absolutely perfect…despite the weather. That entire week it was FREEZING and New Year’s Eve wasn’t any different. Luckily the sun came out and warmed things up enough to take some outdoor pictures! I loved every minute of their wedding and have been so blessed to be a part of their lives. Please keep Austin in your prayers until he returns home in the fall!! I hope you enjoy my (many) favorites!!

Perfectly executed game. Perfect. What a beauty to watch, and how perfect that they accepted #62it&18817; as a team. Truly they won for being ‘a team’.Many of us were clammoring all year for others to see the benefits of the Peverley, Kelly pickups – and the reasons behind sitting Seguin. Hockey (like so many sports) is not an offensive game. You have to control the puck, eliminate mistakes and take advantage of opportunities. The Bs owned center ice – took everything away from Tampa with sound TEAM D. Awesome.
