River Oaks Catering Lafayette, LA: Lauren + Christopher

River Oaks Catering in Lafayette, LA definitely wins the award for some of my favorite wedding food! Lots of venues in Lafayette have exceptional buffets, but River Oaks really went all out for Lauren and Christopher’s wedding! These two are so much fun and I knew after meeting them for their engagement session that their wedding would be unforgettable. I was certainly right! Lauren is super laid back and Christopher is full of energy making them such a dynamic couple.

The day started off warm and sunny and then the skies OPENED up in a downpour! Luckily this happened during their wedding mass so we were still able to photograph all of their portraits outside! My favorite moment of the day was the choreographed dance Lauren and her bridesmaids surprised everyone with at the reception! Lauren, along with some of her bridesmaids was in the Color Guard at UL and this routine definitely looked professional. Everyone was so surprised and I loved how much fun Christopher had watching them!!! My 2nd favorite moment of the day was watching Christopher dance with his mom. They couldn’t hold back the tears and neither could I!! It was difficult to photograph because my eyes were so watery, lol. I love these special little moments that make the day so unique to them. Congratulations, Lauren + Chris!!!
