St. John’s Cathedral, Lafayette Wedding: Claire + John Paul

What a holy, joyful wedding held at St. John’s Cathedral in Lafayette that I have the privilege of blogging today!!! Claire and John Paul are the sweetest couple and I have been so blessed to get to know them both throughout this wedding process! John Paul was in seminary for awhile in Covington, LA, and got to know a lot of our (now) priests in the area. John Paul moved back to Memphis after the seminary, but after meeting Claire decided to move down here! I knew there were going to be quite a few priests attending this wedding but 12+ priests was a pleasant surprise! I don’t think I’ve ever attended a more joyful wedding mass and the pictures of all the priests on the altar may be my favorites of all time. Claire and John Paul opted for a band at their reception next door and they were AMAZING! Everyone had such a blast dancing the night away. I know Claire and her mom had a wonderful time wedding planning and they paid attention to every little detail. The result was a stress-free, beautiful wedding day! I couldn’t be more happy for Claire, John Paul and their families!! You don’t want to miss John Paul’s best man dropping the bottle of champagne, lol! Those pictures are my 2nd favorites of the day! Hilarious!!!
