St. Joseph Catholic Church, Iota LA: Jillian + Kevin

I can’t tell you how happy blogging this wedding from St. Joseph Catholic Church makes me! It will probably win the award for biggest wedding of the year as the final gallery has well over 1000 images! There wasn’t a lull in the entire day and I don’t believe my shutter finger ever took a break!!! Tons and tons of fun images to choose from and narrowing it down was a huge challenge for me! Jillian and Kevin are such a sweet couple and had complete trust in me to get the best photographs possible. This allowed me to make some last minute decisions that enabled us to get beautiful portraits!! Everyone knows how much I love first looks and theirs is one of my top favorites. With such a huge wedding party it made everything so easy to take all of the pictures before the wedding. After the wedding everyone’s only job was to head over to the PARTY! One of the last minute decisions was for the bridesmaids to all get ready at Jill’s home in Iota. Originally they were supposed to get ready about 20 minutes away but I was concerned about our timeline with all of the traveling. They decided to move everything to Iota and Jill’s dad was sweet enough to repaint the front porch just for pictures!!! How I adore a white porch. It made the perfect backdrop for all of our details and I love that all the sweet memories were captured in her childhood home. Jill and Kevin had their first look in the front yard as he picked her up as a single guy for the last time! So sweet!! I hope you enjoy all of the joyful moments <3
